What is Goose Combats?

Goose Combats is inspired by the well-known Rumble Bot, but it is significantly more advanced. It features a dynamic round-based event system where players must react in real time to each phase's requirements. Matches are played in a cross-community format, and every decision impacts eliminations, revives, and final outcomes, affecting both individual rankings and community standings.

How are seasons handled?

Each season has its own leaderboard snapshots and combat history. Use the season selector to switch views.

Can a new community join an already started season?

Yes. A new community can join an ongoing season at any time, as long as it accepts the participation conditions for that season.

Can multiple combats run at the same time?

Yes. Goose Combats supports parallel combats as long as each matchup uses communities that are currently available. For example, two different community-vs-community matches can run simultaneously at the same time. What is not allowed is creating a new combat against a community that is already flagged as challenger or under attack. You can always verify each community state in real time on the Status page.

How do community points work?

Community points are calculated from finished combats only. For each finished combat: winner community gets +7, defeated community gets -3, and the creator community gets +3. In addition, each community adds the player points earned by its members in that same combat. Seasonal standings are the result of this base combat impact plus all active bonuses.

How do Daily Quests and Streak bonuses work?

The bonus system is applied at the community points and only uses finished combats.
Daily Quest: complete at least 2 finished combats in the same UTC day to earn +25 community points.
Streak Bonus: a community earns +50 community points at 3 / 6 / 9 consecutive wins, and after 9/9 every extra consecutive win (10/9, 11/9, 12/9...) also grants +50.
The streak resets when that community loses, and bonuses continue stacking through the season.

How do player points work?

Player points come from finished combats: +2 per combat played, +1 per kill, and +5 extra for the individual winner.

Where can I inspect full combat details?

Open Combats History and enter any combat detail page to see overview, winner snapshot, combat summary, and round-by-round replay.

How do prizes and seasonal pools work?

To participate in a season, each community must contribute a minimum of 50 USDC to the seasonal pool. Communities may also contribute NFTs optionally to increase the pool value. This contribution model is how the seasonal pool is funded.
Seasonal Pool Entry: Minimum 50 USDC per community
Optional Boost: NFT contributions are allowed
In each season, the pool is split into 90% for community ranking and 10% for individual MVP ranking. Both tracks distribute rewards to Top 1/2/3 with 50/30/20 inside each track.
Community Track (90%): Top 1 = 45%, Top 2 = 27%, Top 3 = 18% of total pool
MVP Track (10%): Top 1 = 5%, Top 2 = 3%, Top 3 = 2% of total pool
Seasons are quarterly. Each season starts on day 2 of the first month of the quarter and closes on the last day of the third month:
Q1: January 2 to March 31
Q2: April 2 to June 30
Q3: July 2 to September 30
Q4: October 2 to December 31
The bot is not available for matches on the final day of each quarter (day 30 or 31, depending on the month) and on day 1 of the new quarter. Those days are reserved for season closure, prize distribution, and setup for the next season.

Who funds each combat prize and what is the minimum?

Each combat prize is funded by the hoster, meaning the community that creates the combat. Every community uses its own community token, but the system enforces a minimum prize equivalent of approximately $0.50 USD to open a combat.
Payer: Combat hoster (creator community)
Asset: Community token
Minimum Prize: ~0.50 USD equivalent value
This minimum helps prevent manipulation through extremely cheap combats while keeping participation open and ensuring each combat still carries meaningful value for participants.
